Mer Cats/Kittens
This is a special type of Mer Cat that lives near the void Mers in the black lake of the void. They are a type of feline aquatic creatures that have four webbed legs and a Mer-like tail so they can swim both with their legs and tail. They are fuzzy with a special type of underwater fur that’s an interesting fuzzy feeling. They have fur that moves with the water, and it gives them a protective barrier that helps them with swimming. The fur gives them protection from bites and if bitten it can release a bad taste or toxin to deter predators. Mer Cats are a playful, cute and fun beast. The Mer Cat breeder from this group likes to add string with a bell to his tail and all the Mer Kittens will chase it and bat at it. They make cute underwater sounds and soothing purrs that call other Mer Cats to them. The mother can even use her purr to call to her kittens. The Mer Kittens are really small because they need to hide and as they grow, they will wary between a normal house cat to lynx size.
Mer Cats are a smaller creature in the black lake that are very stealthy and agile. They know how to conceal themselves to cloak and camouflage themselves. Their fur can aide them in their stealth because it can change colors to blend and adapt to its surroundings. Mer Cats bring joy and happiness; they can keep their companion grounded and teach to live in the moment. They love to play, tackle each other and enjoy life and infuse this into their companion’s life. They also bring luck and when you stroke these cats, they bring luck your way. The Mers believe they are lucky and work closely with them because of their protection benefits. Mer Cats love swimming with their companion and will love any body of water. They are a happy creature and make a wonderful beast companion.
