I always have plants and plant spirits to commune with. That would be Ry’s area of expertise. I actually was going to focus on my favorite flower. A very specific type of purple iris.. but I got pulled into the astral space of my Silver Grotto where I hadn’t realized but a very stunning silvery shimmering blossoming flower floated on the surface of the flowing water. It wasn’t a normal lily pad or lotus. It sparkled like silver moonlight and has a luminosity like transparent blooms. It felt healing if I were to touch it. I definitely wanted to go back. But felt the pull of sleep that this area of my astral space invokes if I stay too long within it
Since the event started I have been thinking a lot about cherry blossoms. A friend gave me a petal of a cherry blossom tree from Japan that he got during one of his trips and I loved it so much.
Can’t stop thinking about it. And I have a body splash too which I’m wearing today.

she’s a beat up looking carnation plant, an annual, that ive been bringing into the house every winter bc shes such a fighter and just wont quit. Every autumn she holds her green & looks healthy even when it hits freezing overnight so i keep bringing her in.
Shes an annual but has had 3winters. Initially i didn’t pay attention & someone else brought her into the house. I didn’t notice her right away- not that first winter actually.
but once i connected to her i took over watering bc i could feel how much she needed more water- shes happy to drink lots every day in the summer and every other day winter. she doesn’t go to sleep during the winter and she gets pretty brown, leaf die off, with so little light but once i connected and she communicated back, i began checking in on her daily. with more water shes greener. and i like to just stand beside her – she makes me feel good somehow.
Shes become a friend; i have a great deal of affection for her and she’s in pretty good shape having made it through another winter. I know shes eager to go back outside. I know one of my imps visits her. I feel another one of my companions is watching over her too & my grandmother spider keeps an eye on her well being. I think shes pretty popular. And she really gives off that kind of “friendly, loves attention” vibe.
I pulled up pictures of geraniums. Looking at them bring me joy, happiness, and peace. I would love one day to have them planted where I live. Some day . . . not this home, but another.
Lily of the Valley. A return to happiness, cultivating a space for artists (muses), and poisonous if you try it. Connecting to it I also got beauty from pain, music, and spirals.
I decided to sit with my Christmas Cactus, I just let it take me where it wanted to.
The words “warm” appeared in my mind. That snuggly kind of warm you get next to someone. I saw the faintness of a desert, of gifts, of the winter holidays.
We recently moved it, so I’m taking this as an extra sign it likes its new spot!
