I observe today the birch tree in front of my apartment together with my Companion
Movement through the wind
It is a young tree very balanced

I love Ponderosa Pine. Their bark feels & looks like tree-flesh to me. But where i live they are an extremely rare sight. So i spotted two Ponderosa Pines. One was huge & beautiful, a well established older Ponderosa. And then a smaller younger one in an entirely different area of town that was right at the opening of a park but somehow felt mysteriously hidden.

I was recently able to stand next to a fallen tree. Must have been at least 8 feet wide. Absolutely massive. Like, bigger than how one would think a tree could become, and there were other similar ones in the area.
Makes you wonder… how long does it takes to get like to that size? it was a very emotional encounter. puts a lot of things into perspective at once, and I’m still thinking about the experience.

I was really stressed out, so I went to go visit the rose bushes. I tried to calm down, but sadly it didn’t help much. I ended up putting Geranium oil under my nose.

I stared at the trees across the street as they swayed in the wind. It was really calming.

I couldn’t resist, this was the day that I went and played Sid for awhile. Admired the Dandelions.
“A dandelion! Must be the last one of the season.” I had a good giggle. Didn’t eat it though.

I actually went and planted a new garden! It was a lot of fun, picking out new plants to grow with my new food plants. All of the insects have been loving the garden, the birds have been visiting. It’s nice to go it and just see it.
