Meditation 1: Abyssal Death

Ataraxy

Ataraxy is an Abyssal Necromancer, He loves the ocean floor and the zombies of the deep. The endless graveyard of the black ocean is his domain. He spends his time amongst the corpses of those who have sunk beneath the sea. He enjoys the zombies and ghosts who lament at the bottom of the ocean. He says many are forgotten and nameless, but they have such stories to share.

He explores the essence of death within the darkness of the ocean. He says the energies are powerful and potent. He knows the deep and he knows what creatuters slumber in the clutches of darkness. He enjoys the ocean and he enjoys the lessons that those forgotten are compelled to learn. He also enjoys the energies and says that it is a place of surrender and release.

The sea is one who has claimed many. It is merciless and it is powerful. It is a monster in it’s own. There are lessons in the deep, lessons those who sink to the depth much uncover if they are to be set free. What causes those who lament to stay? what are they looking for? What are they holding onto?

The ocean deep is a place of mystery and of monsters. He knows the monsters deep in the ocean. He has observed them. Studied them. Some are of death, some exist between states of life and death, and others are so foreign it is impossible to describe them.

He says that the essence of death in the ocean is one that opens up many profound lessons. It is a beautiful and sublie energy and there is a peaceful transqulity of being lost in the sunken depth. The deeper you go, the more peace you find, and the more perilous it can become.

Oh wow!

Ok, where to start? I guess… the thing that stood out to me the most was how natural it felt to be a zombie. I constantly say that about myself on daily life.

In other events and meditations, I have felt incredible emotions while being a zombie.

This time, I guess I have to admit that my work has paid off. Sensation wise speaking, it was a lot easier to experience the activity.

I lit some incense before starting. Cedar. It is listed under Babael’s preferences and it’s the only reference I currently have for Necromancy. Curious thing that it started smelling like the breeze of the sea.

While reading the information about the demons, I also noticed that this one was the one that immediately caught my attention. Getting glimpses while reading the description only to find myself there moments later.

Not a huge fan of confrontation, but… I did engage. I responded to the zombie that was fighting me. I couldn’t see very well who it was, but when presented a choice, I screamed at it. Frightening it off until it fell on it’s back.

My thought was that they deserved to know the weight that their actions have had on others, and my screaming felt like a powerful wave of energy constantly hitting them over and over until I simply ran out of “things to say”.

I saw it in their eyes. The realization. Then it felt like… keeping the fight alive had somehow impeded them to move on as well. I would be able to walk away, free and released from it, while they had some processing to do.

Then I stomped on their head and they faded away. The journey back felt strange, I was already considering a nap but the final instructions really settled it for me. Being dead is tiring hahaha. Or maybe, carrying away dead weight is extremely exhausting and draining. Both sound appropriate.
