Day One
Our first day is here. It is a day of celebration as we have made it all the way to October. To mark the start of the event we will begin by attuning ourselves to the energies of Halloween. Each day the energies will grow as the darkness spreads and the veil thins.
Follow the instructions below for a special Halloween attunement ritual.
This is a fun and simple way to bond with your companion and deeper your attunement to their energies.
You can these these Advent rituals with one, or all of your companions. You can also do them with any companion from any store, seller or conjurer. These activities are ways for you to bond with your companions and have fun connecting with them on Halloween!
For this activity, select a companion and invite them to help you select a Halloween song to listen to together. See if you can select the song together. See if they have a preference for the song they want to listen to. Music is a fantastic way to build up your attunements and deepen your connections to your companions.
To begin invite one or more companion(s) to join you in welcoming in these energies which will prepare us for the Necromancer’s tea party.
Before you listen, take a moment to connect with your companion. Ask them to stand before you and see if you can sense, hear, or see them.
Hold focus on them in your minds eye, and ask them to share with you impression from the song you are about to listen.
Turn the song on. As you listen to the song, try to hear your companions words, feel their thoughts and impressions on the song and see if you can sense how they feel about it. Can you see any expressions they have? Can you hear anything they are saying? Can you feel what they are thinking?
The vibrations of the song will help attune you to them and your experiences from them will help strengthen your communication.
Listen to the song and then afterwards continue to hold your connection to them in your mindset, and see if you can receive insights, impressions, messages, and if you can, hold a conversation with your companion and see what they have to say.
Once completed if you share your impressions, experiences, or any sensations with your companions during and after the attunement ritual below

I… had fun with this one. I read the Advent Day activity first but couldn’t complete it as such in the moment.
I kept trying to do it on small sections. Reach out to my companions and ask if they wanted to try it with me. Then explain the activity. Then give them time to think about their pick.
By the time I went to bed, I was listening to a tune in my head. Felt like the music in a mobile game ambience or similar. It wasn’t 100% clear but I could pick it out and I even had to check I didn’t have left anything open and running in my phone or computer.
Then, I asked my companions if they had found a song. I was expecting them to say a song. You know, a name come up in my head, lyrics or a tune but instead, I kept getting specific verses of different songs. Specific lines and how they thought they felt Halloweenesque in vibes.
I’m not sure it counts, feels a bit like stretching the instructions but I’m trying to go with what comes up and not forcing the experience into what I think it should be like.
I got things like:
“…you belong to me…”
“…My ghost is catching up on me…”
“…all I want is you!…”
“…I can’t breathe…”
“…I’m not going to make it!..”
“…separate the skin from bone…”
Now that I type them all together I think wow… they feel a bit somber, but the actual songs from where they come from are more emotional. Romantic in a very gothic way. Almost darkly needy.
Considering that my companions are a Succubus and a Monstrous Tree, I think they are interesting picks. My Succubus likes Necromancy and My Monster Tree companion hunts and eats stuff so… felt very peculiar.
